Mais aujourd’hui, je vais te partager mes astuces pour le dompter et reprendre les rênes de ta confiance en toi. Prêt à en découdre avec ce saboteur interne ?
Déconstruire les mythes du freelancing parfait
Parlons un peu de ces images idylliques qu’on nous vend sur le freelancing. Tu sais, ces posts Instagram où tout semble si facile ? Foutaises ! La réalité est bien plus nuancée, et c’est normal.
Le mythe du freelance toujours productif est l’un des plus tenaces. On s’imagine qu’un bon indépendant travaille 24/7 avec le sourire. Mais laisse-moi te dire un secret : même les meilleurs ont des jours sans. J’ai appris à accepter que certains jours, ma productivité n’est pas au top, et c’est okay.
Un autre piège, c’est la comparaison toxique. On se mesure aux autres sans connaître leur parcours. Stop ! Concentre-toi sur ton chemin. Comme je le dis souvent à mes clients en coaching : “La seule personne à qui tu dois te comparer, c’est toi-même, hier.”
Voici une liste des mythes à déconstruire :
- Le freelance parfait n’existe pas
- Tout le monde a des doutes, même les plus expérimentés
- Le succès n’est pas linéaire, il y a des hauts et des bas
- Les échecs sont des opportunités d’apprentissage
Identifier et neutraliser les pensées saboteuses
Le syndrome de l’imposteur se nourrit de nos pensées négatives. Il est temps de les débusquer et de les remettre à leur place. Comme je l’ai appris dans ma formation en PNL, nos pensées influencent directement nos émotions et nos actions.
Commence par identifier ces pensées toxiques. “Je ne suis pas assez bon”, “Ils vont découvrir que je suis un imposteur”, “Je ne mérite pas ce succès”. Ça te parle ? Moi aussi, j’y ai eu droit. Mais j’ai appris à les remettre en question.
Voici un exercice pratique : chaque fois qu’une pensée saboteuse surgit, note-la. Ensuite, demande-toi : “Est-ce vraiment vrai ? Quelles preuves ai-je du contraire ?” Tu seras surpris de voir à quel point ces pensées sont souvent infondées.
Pour t’aider à visualiser ce processus, voici un petit tableau :

Cultiver sa confiance en soi au quotidien
La confiance en soi, c’est comme un muscle : plus tu l’exerces, plus elle se renforce. Etant comédienne de café-théâtre, j’ai appris que même les plus grands artistes ont des moments de doute. L’important, c’est de continuer à monter sur scène, ou dans notre cas, à entreprendre.
Célèbre tes victoires, même les petites. Tu as terminé un projet dans les temps ? Bravo ! Un client t’a fait un retour positif ? Savoure-le ! Trop souvent, on minimise nos réussites alors qu’elles sont la preuve de notre valeur.
N’hésite pas à tenir un journal de tes succès. Dans les moments de doute, il sera ton meilleur allié pour te rappeler tout ce dont tu es capable. C’est une technique que j’utilise souvent avec mes clients en coaching, et les résultats sont bluffants.
Autre astuce : entoure-toi de personnes positives et bienveillantes. Rien de tel qu’un bon réseau de soutien pour booster ta confiance. Participe à des groupes de freelances, échange avec tes pairs. Tu verras que tu n’es pas seul à vivre ces moments de doute.
Transformer le syndrome de l’imposteur en moteur de progression
Et si on changeait de perspective ? Et si ce syndrome de l’imposteur était en fait un allié déguisé ? Oui, tu as bien lu. Cette voix qui te pousse à douter peut aussi être celle qui te pousse à t’améliorer constamment.
Utilise tes doutes comme une opportunité de croissance. Quand tu te sens dépassé par un projet, au lieu de te dire “Je n’y arriverai jamais”, demande-toi “Que puis-je apprendre de cette expérience ?” C’est ainsi que j’ai pu élargir mes compétences en coaching, en relevant des défis qui me semblaient insurmontables au début.
Voici quelques façons de transformer tes doutes en actions positives :
- Identifie les compétences que tu souhaites améliorer
- Fixe-toi des objectifs d’apprentissage réalistes
- Célèbre chaque nouvelle compétence acquise
- Partage ton savoir avec d’autres freelances
N’oublie pas : le perfectionnisme est l’ennemi du bien. Vise l’excellence, pas la perfection. C’est en acceptant que nous sommes tous en apprentissage constant que nous pouvons véritablement nous épanouir comme freelances.
En fin de compte, surmonter le syndrome de l’imposteur, c’est un voyage. Un voyage vers une meilleure connaissance de soi et une confiance plus solide. Alors, prêt à embarquer ? Rappelle-toi, tu as toutes les cartes en main pour réussir. Et la prochaine fois que tu te sentiras comme un imposteur, souris et dis-toi : “Tiens, mon syndrome préféré est de retour. Qu’est-ce qu’il va m’apprendre aujourd’hui ?”
